- A phone number shared between a WhatsApp thread and an order
- An email address given in a form and used for a campaign
- An Instagram handle that matches a commenter to an existing contact
- A Messenger id carried from a lead ad submission
- What first brought them to you, recorded once and never overwritten
One person. One profile. Every channel.
The same person is recognised whether they arrive by WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or a Google review, and their whole history sits on one profile.
What links, what you see, and what never happens on a guess.
Identity resolution is the part most tools get wrong by being confident. uxjo links on evidence and asks you when the evidence is thin.
- Every message on every channel, in order, with the channel named
- Every order, with what was paid and when
- Every review they left, with its rating and text
- Every form they filled, answer by answer
- Every tag, note and owner your team has put on them
- Nothing is merged on a guess. A weak match is surfaced as a question, not applied quietly
- Every merge can be undone. The profile splits back with each side’s history intact
- Consent travels with the person, so an opt-out given on one channel suppresses every other
- Who merged what is recorded, in the same chained log as every other write
Four arrivals, one person.
A contact exists now, sourced to Instagram, with the handle attached.
contact.createdDifferent channel, different identifier, no obvious link yet.
message.receivedNow the evidence is strong: the same number on both sides.
strong matchOne person, both histories, first seen still reads Instagram.
mergedThe reviewer name matches loosely, so uxjo asks rather than assumes.
weak matchEither way the decision is recorded, and it can be reversed later.
reversibleAsked and answered.
Does uxjo recognise the same customer across channels?
Yes. A phone number, an email, an Instagram handle and a Messenger id can all belong to one person, and uxjo links them when the evidence is strong. Their whole history then sits on one profile: every message on every channel, every order, every review and every form.
What happens when uxjo is not sure two records are the same person?
It asks. A weak match is surfaced for you to confirm rather than applied quietly, because a wrong merge puts two people’s conversations in one place.
Can a merge be undone?
Yes, every merge is reversible. The profile splits back into its parts with each side’s history intact, and the merge and the reversal are both recorded in the audit log.
Does an opt-out on one channel apply to the others?
Yes. Consent travels with the person rather than the channel, so an opt-out given on WhatsApp also suppresses email and any journey step that would have reached them.
What does the profile actually show?
Every message on every channel in order, every order with what was paid, every review with its rating and text, every form answer, and what first brought them to you.
