Channel

One thread, from hello to paid.

A shared inbox, approved templates, broadcasts paced per number, journeys on a trigger, and checkout in the chat. On a number you own, as a Meta Tech Provider.

Shared inbox Templates and broadcasts Orders in the chat
The ledger

What uxjo reads, writes, and will not do.

Written plainly so you can check it against your own account before you commit to anything.

Readsfrom WhatsApp
  • Inbound messages and media. Text, images, documents and voice notes, held against the contactmessage.received
  • Delivery and read receipts. Per message, so a broadcast has a real completion state
  • Opt-out replies. Captured as consent state on the contact, not as a note someone has to read
  • Click-to-WhatsApp ad referrals. The ad or post that started the conversation, attached to the contactCtwaReferral
  • Catalog order events. Cart, order and payment state from in-chat commerceorder.paid
  • Form submissions. Structured answers, typed and validated, not parsed out of free text
Writesto WhatsApp
  • Replies from the shared inbox. Inside the customer service window, with an owner recorded against each one
  • Approved message templates. Only templates Meta has approved on your account, with variables filled from the contact record
  • Broadcasts. Paced per number by a token bucket, with retry on transient failure
  • Journey steps. Whatever the published journey says to send, on the trigger it was built for
  • Catalog and checkout messages. Product cards and payment prompts inside the thread
  • Contact record updates. Tags, owner, notes and consent, written back as the conversation moves
What holds itguardrails
  • Templates are checked for approval before a broadcast can launch. A template still in review cannot be selected
  • Opt-outs are captured automatically and honoured across every channel, not just this one
  • Daily send caps and quality limits are visible before you hit a wall, not after
  • Every message carries its real cost, recorded in a ledger you can audit line by line
  • A paused broadcast stays paused, even through a restart

Approval state is read, never faked.uxjo shows you what Meta has approved on your account. A template in review cannot be selected for a broadcast until it clears.

The token bucket is per number, not per account, so adding a second number adds throughput instead of risking the first one.

A send that fails a gate does not start.Consent, suppression, template state, number health and approval are all checked before the first message leaves.

Do you deliver to Pune, and how long does it take?
Jo · staged, awaiting approval

Yes, we deliver to Pune. Standard is two to three working days, and it is free above ₹2,000.

Worked example

One customer, start to finish.

The same olive linen jacket that runs through the rest of this site, followed through WhatsApp end to end.

She taps a click-to-WhatsApp ad

The thread opens with the ad reference already attached, so the conversation knows where it came from.

message.received
A contact is created

Number, consent state and first-seen channel are written at once. No one retypes anything.

Jo drafts the stock answer

Grounded in the catalog, not guessed. Staged in the inbox with the sources it used.

staged
Anita approves it

One tap. Her name goes on the message and into the audit chain with it.

Checkout opens in the thread

The product card comes from your catalog, so price and stock are the live ones.

She pays, the order is recorded

The order lands on her contact record and fires the event your systems listen for.

order.paid
A journey takes over

Shipping template on dispatch, then a review request a week later, both consent-checked.

Where it lands

WhatsApp is an input, not an island.

Contact record

Messages, orders, consent, tags and owner sit on one card with the same person's Instagram and Google activity.

Journeys

Any WhatsApp event can be a trigger: a keyword, an order, a form answer, an ad referral.

Analytics

Sends, delivery, replies and orders are recorded per day by the same layer that records the other channels.

Roles decide who may send. The hash-chained log records what was sent and who said yes.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Can uxjo send WhatsApp messages for me?

Yes. uxjo replies from a shared inbox inside the customer service window, sends approved message templates outside it, runs broadcasts paced per number, and carries out journey steps. Every automated write is staged for a person to approve first.

Do I need my own WhatsApp Business number?

Yes. uxjo connects to a number your business owns through the WhatsApp Business Platform, as a Meta Tech Provider. The number, its quality rating and its template approvals stay yours.

How does uxjo avoid getting my number blocked?

Broadcasts are paced per number by a token bucket rather than sent all at once, failed sends are retried, and a launch is blocked unless the template is approved, the audience is consent filtered and the number is inside its quality tier.

What happens to opt-outs?

An opt-out reply is captured as consent state on the contact, not as a note someone has to read. Suppression is checked in the data layer, so it holds for a broadcast, a journey step and an API call alike, and it applies across every channel.

Does uxjo mark up WhatsApp conversation charges?

No. Meta bills conversations at their own rate and uxjo passes that through without a markup. Every message also carries its real cost in a ledger you can audit line by line.
